Arts By The Sea Festival

On 25–26 September 2026, Arts by the Sea returns to Bournemouth, transforming the Lower Gardens and town centre with two days of outdoor performance, music and art. This year’s ELEMENTAL theme takes inspiration from water, earth, fire and air, bringing together imaginative installations, dance, theatre and live performance in spaces across the town.

What to Expect:

Free entry to the main festival programme

Outdoor dance, immersive theatre, giant puppetry and installations

Live music spanning jazz, funk, Latin and community performances

A specially curated family concert from an ensemble of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra

The ELEMENTAL theme, inspired by water, earth, fire and air

Arts by the Sea Fringe continues across Bournemouth from 27 September–11 October
